Find It In Everything: Winter 2016/17

Hello gang! Oh how I've missed you.

I recently moved (again, but the last time this time), and I found myself without the internet for the best part of two weeks! No internet is a bit of a nightmare when you use it so much so my blog really felt the affect. Thankfully I'm up and running again and just in time for Spring! Yesterday marked the very first day of Spring, so it's time for another 'Find it in Everything'. This one is a little unusual as, although London can be super pretty in the Winter months, I found myself mesmerised by the the stunning light display at the Magical Lantern Festival. The festival is to celebrate the Chinese New Year, and I simply couldn't take enough pictures; there was so much to see and marvel over. I believe it's on until the end of February, so do take some time to go if you can.

In honour of my first trip there, this Winter's edition is all about the lights!

I look forward to snapping away during the Spring months - see you then. :)

'til next time,

Love and hugs,
Isha xxx

  1. As people are being educated day by day they have started being judgmental about everything whether people or simply that is in the surrounding. In my opinion it shouldn't be like this. These are just some number you can't be judged from them

Success

In the blogger world, success is often in reference to money or exposure. Often these two things go hand-in-hand, in that the more exposure you get the more you are in a position to ask to be paid for your work/ name/ face, etc. Blogging has become a business for many and an aspiration to even more, but are we being realistic?

Don't get me wrong, I think it's great to have ambition and to work and strive for a goal or goals, but I also think it's important to be realistic with those goals. There are so many factors that come into trying to make a blog a business. For example, bloggers whom have been able to make their blog their sole source of income are often white, slim/ slim passing, a small fat, able-bodied, cis gendered, and/ or with euro-centric beauty. There are of course other examples that correlate, but that's the starting point. Not every blogger is going to fall into that blueprint, nor should we, but unfortunately we have not yet reached a point where said…
