Pink & Purple Shake

I’m becoming increasing impressed with Very. They have such variety now and I have found so many great items for not only myself, but for friends too. I was scrolling through the sale section and found this absolute gem by Holly Willoughby. I couldn’t resist adding it to my basket along with a few other finds and couldn’t wait for my package to arrive.
Dress: Holly Willoughby (via Very)
Cardigan & Leggings: South (via Very)
Boots: Boohoo
It’s such a fun dress and I adore the pleats on the skirt (I’m becoming slightly obsessed with pleats at the moment), I love the fit and didn’t have to turn to my usual belt uniform to show my waist. The colours remind me of a mix milkshake and I can definitely see myself having a dance in this and feeling completely comfortable.
Pink & Purple shake!
While I was in Brighton, I found another gem thanks to Urban Outfitters. This bag is perfect for me as it’s a mix between a satchel and vintage handbag, and works so well with the dress:
Satchel: Deena & Ozzy (via Urban Outfitters)
I'm so happy with this outfit and there will no doubt be variations of this as the weather gets nicer.

‘til next time.

Love and hugs,

Often these two things go hand-in-hand, in that the more exposure you get the more you are in a position to ask to be paid for your work/ name/ face, etc. Blogging has become a business for many and an aspiration to even more, but are we being realistic?

Don't get me wrong, I think it's great to have ambition and to work and strive for a goal or goals, but I also think it's important to be realistic with those goals. There are so many factors that come into trying to make a blog a business. For example, bloggers whom have been able to make their blog their sole source of income are often white, slim/ slim passing, a small fat, able-bodied, cis gendered, and/ or with euro-centric beauty. There are of course other examples that correlate, but that's the starting point. Not every blogger is going to fall into that blueprint, nor should we, but unfortunately we have not yet reached a point where said…
