Sheer Loving & Polka Dots

One of the great things about working in Central London for the psblogger, is having so many interesting backdrops to take pictures. These were taken outside a garage door, but look how gorgeous the wood and carvings are! Another great thing is having friends who can come and meet you for lunch – enter Hanna :D

My lovely friend Hanna came to meet me for lunch and we headed to Patisserie Valerie for foody goodness, but we also took the opportunity between bouts of rain to take some outfit photos. I wore my newish dress by Cutie for Simply Be for the first time, and you may wonder whether or not you’ve seen me wear this before. I can assure you I haven’t, I just literally have that many polka dot dresses! This dress has a lovely sheer neckline, is the perfect length and well fitted across the waist (a constant bane in my life). I really love the Cutie range and look forward to some new items in Spring/Summer:
Dress: Cutie for Simply Be
Cardigan & Leggings: South (via Very)
Boots: Boohoo

Bag: ASOS
Sheer neckline <3

I hope you're all well and not getting too down with this rather annoying weather.

'til next time!

Love and hugs,
Isha

Success

In the blogger world, success is often in reference to money or exposure. Often these two things go hand-in-hand, in that the more exposure you get the more you are in a position to ask to be paid for your work/ name/ face, etc. Blogging has become a business for many and an aspiration to even more, but are we being realistic?

Don't get me wrong, I think it's great to have ambition and to work and strive for a goal or goals, but I also think it's important to be realistic with those goals. There are so many factors that come into trying to make a blog a business. For example, bloggers whom have been able to make their blog their sole source of income are often white, slim/ slim passing, a small fat, able-bodied, cis gendered, and/ or with euro-centric beauty. There are of course other examples that correlate, but that's the starting point. Not every blogger is going to fall into that blueprint, nor should we, but unfortunately we have not yet reached a point where said…
