Pixie with a bun

Hi folks, So I’ve been trying for ages to throw my hair in a messy bun and have it look good. I have found the best way for me to do this is to sleep with hair in said bun overnight for the messy look. I rocked this look today, along with this cute little dress I got ages ago but never wore until recently. I really like this look. It’s feminine, but the boots and the hair give it the edge it needs. The dress is very floaty though and was a nightmare to keep under control in the blistering wind! Dress: Marks and Spencer Vest: Marks and Spencer Cardigan: H&M Tights: Boots Boots (I LOVE these!): Asos Today was a bit of a sucky day and to be honest, I can’t wait for this month to be over- October is FULL to the brim with exciting things which I will no doubt tell you about as and when they happen, but I seriously cannot wait for October! ‘Til next time! xxx

Office Vixen and my new Tattoo!!

Hi folks : ) I’m currently in a state of happiness because I’m watching Daria on VIVA, and I LOVE Daria! She is my heroine so always watch and soak in her sarcastic words of wisdom when she’s on. Dress: Evans Cardigan: South (via Very) Scarf: M&S Leggings: Savior (via Very) Shoes: Next Oh, yesterday was my tattoo getting day! It’s my very first tattoo and I love it. I was super scared once I was on the table watching the needle getting ever closer to my skin; and it really hurt! I was a brave little soldier though and didn’t cry or ought. Anyways, here it is: Thank you Rikki at

Take This Waltz

I went to watch the film 'Take this Waltz' tonight for the second time, and it had me really thinking. I love films that force you to assess the way you live your life and the way you choose to treat others; and it also reignited something that I had been thinking about for a little while now. The film is based on a married couple, where the wife feels dissatisfied with her life- including her marriage. She has a chance meeting with a guy, who makes her feel like she has been re-energised, and struggles with whether or not to commit to ultimate sin whilst in a monogamous relationship- to cheat or not to cheat? I found the film a brutally honest portrayal of how we really are when it comes to getting what we want- selfish/harsh/uncaring/unashamed and self absorbed. We somehow need to feel like we have a multitude of options outside of our relationships, we need to feel like if our current relationship doesn't work out, we have a choice of people to fill t
